When I put this weblog together, I decided that I would NOT be a blogger who opines on every subject under the sun. Instead, I would keep a tight focus on my specialties and the central subjects of my ministry. To reflect my blogging aesthetic, I made a masthead on my about page.

My first blog attempt fizzled, but I'm trying again with better technology and renewed enthusiasm...

I decided to base my weblog design on this ink painting of the poet Li Po -- painted by Liang K'ai in the mid thirteenth century. It's a favorite of mine, and moreover it reflects much of what I stand for and aspire to -- poise, presence, simplicity, etc.
